Swim a Song
Want to help your baby or toddler learn to enjoy water more?
A 12 week pre-swimming water awareness programme for parents and toddlers. Run in conjunction with Swim Ireland and Ballyfermot Swimming Pool.
• Weekly pool sessions will be held every Friday morning @ 10am (for 45 minutes)
• First session starting on Friday 18th September (for 6 weeks)
• Total cost: €15 (including a parent's pack)

Event: Launch of the Intercultural Strategy for Youth Work
On Thursday Evening at 6pm in the Goldenbridge Chapel on St. Vincent Steet West the Canal Communities Intercultural Centre, in conjunction with the Canal Communities Regional Youth Service will launch the Intercultural Strategy for Youth Work. All are welcome to attend.
CCIC is very excited about the completion and launch of this strategy and hopes that its implementation over the coming years will bring postive change to the community in which we live.

Event: Culture Night 2009 in the Canal Communities
CCIC invites you to its second participation in the Dublin Culture Night Festival. You might want to begin the night by trying out some bollywood dancing, African drumming or singing and then allow yourself to enjoy a night of entertainment with hip-hop performance, Irish Dancing, stand up comedian and much much more.
Your children are of course very welcome. They may participate to the workshops along with their parents.
Workshops: 7.00 - 8.00pm
Entertainments: 8.00 - 9.30pm
Party atmosphere guarantied.

This event is jointly organised by CCIC, Dublin city Council, St Michael's Youth Project, St Michael's Family Resource Centre and Inchicore Community Drug Team.

Youthfest
Saturday May 23rd, Oblate Parish Grounds, Inchicore Canal Communities Regional Youth Service host an annual youthfest event, to showcase the range of youth clubs and activities available in the area. The Canal Communities Intercultural Centre play a role in providing an intercultural dimension to the day and also provide an intercultural team of volunteers. Admission on the day is free and all young people and families are welcome.
