Volunteers, staff members and staff from other local projects at recent Intercultural Training
The Centre has benefited enormously from the energy, enthusiasm and creativity of volunteers from a diverse range of backgrounds. We believe fully in the power of active volunteerism to build connections, foster friendships and promote integration. We seek to encourage and support volunteering at every level of our organisation.
We have vacancies for
1) Fáilte Isteach Conversational English Volunteers
- 2 hours per week on a Wed evening in Inchicore to teach English to adults from minority ethnic communities. You do not have to be a trained teacher to do this, you need to be a native English speaker with an interest in conversation with people from different cultures.
2) Social Group Volunteers
- People to assist with our planning and runnning of range of intercultural events during the year, inlcuding our Intercultural Talent Competition.
